Nov 21, 2009 Does anyone remember these neat little 3 and 4 wheeled truck things made by the Carl Heald. The Heald Hauler. These were sold mail order in a do it yourself kit. Heald Hauler UTV, Cab, Dump Bed, The Original Side by Side. Playlists werden geladen. Any other Brand Information used from us are the properties of their respective owners.

We own a Lawn Mower Shop. We have a customer that has an 'old' Yard Bronc TR 10 by Heald garden tractor. It has a 10 HP Briggs or Tec. (I'm not sure) with a 38' mowing deck. My father in-law thinks it might have been manufacutered in Michigan, but he's not sure. Does anyone know who made this tractor? Any info? Customer is curious. Your help is appreciated. |

OK you guys. I've got an even better more basic question (just found the site). For a craftsman lawn tractor, what is the basic carb needle settings to start adjusting from? |

Approx 15 years ago there was a small company that manufactured kits where you could build lawn mowers and even a mini truck that was a one or two man vehicle that was powered by a Briggs and Stratton motor. This type of vehicle had a cab and could be outfitted with snow plows etc. Sort of like what John Deere is doing now. I had heard rumors that the company is no longer existant but I am not sure. I remember having a catalog that was named 'Kits by Heald'
This may be who made the lawn mower as they had a many types of equipment that were sold as self built kits, all parts included. I was 14 when I remember looking at the catalog and now at age 30 was curious as to what became of the company and low and behold found this site. If we are talking about the same product company, they were way ahead of their time and I think that most people were not prepared to spend the money that Heald wanted for their products that were very, very neat. Carl Heald Inc. - Benton Harbor Michigan They were bought out in 1987. They made Bikes, Trykes, 3 and 4 wheel haulers, tillers, trailers. The company is still in business.
